With all of the challenges that people go through they must also focus on their mental health. When you are faced with large struggles your mind can suffer, and in most cases, your body will follow.

Working through the challenges of life is hard enough on its own. What makes it harder is when the people going through the challenges have to focus on their mental health as well. Being faced with large struggles can cause your mind to suffer. The larger the struggle, the harder it is to rebound. In a survey we sent out to 138 students, students anonymously responded agreeing that they noticed a large amount of change in their life after they experienced their particular struggle. Students were asked to rate how long it took to deal with it on a scale of 1 to 5. 1 is only a few weeks, and 5 being still dealing with it. Just under 50% of the responses rated the time at a 4. 40% responded with a 5.  There was not a single answer below 3 and almost every student said that their life was majorly impacted by it. All of these responses indicate that you never really forget your experiences, but they can fuel how you react to challenges in your future.
