Students at Hunterdon Central have dealt with death, life-changing injuries, language barriers, and more. They’ve seen themselves at their lowest lows whether it be being bedridden because of a back tumor, dealing with an ADHD diagnosis, or powering through a nasty divorce. However, as much as they’ve been through, they’ve shown us how strong we can be and who we have the ability to become. Every interviewee had their head held up high as they recounted hard moments from their past. Specifically, Francesca Ferrara talked about how she’d been hospitalized and bedridden for six months and that she was excited to be back and see her school friends.
